Kris is a Lawyer for Alberta Justice, working within the Energy Legal Services team to advise and assist Alberta’s Department of Energy in respect of a wide range of legal issues.
He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2016 and spent the first 6 years practicing private civil litigation with two regional law firms in downtown Edmonton. Though Kris’ law practice exclusively relates to matters effecting the Department of Energy, he strongly believes in community involvement and helping to grow and benefit the non-profit/not-for-profit sector in Edmonton and Alberta.
Kris believes that continuing education and skills development are crucial to the advancement of Alberta and Canada as a whole and that Bredin performs an essential role in delivering these services. He is eager to apply his legal and business knowledge and experience to assist Bredin in continuing to provide this much-needed function.
Kris joined the Bredin Board in the spring of 2018. Kris sits on the Governance & Human Resources committee.
