Ayo is a Business Leader and an Emerging Tech enthusiast who continually defines innovative solutions to real-world problems.
With his versatile professional background across multiple countries and industries, both private and public sectors, Ayo provides a unique intersectional lens to the Board.
Ayo is a trained Finance Professional with a Master’s degree in Finance and Investment (UK). He has worked in various capacities across Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, and Business Transformation. He is currently the Director, Capital Access at Alberta Innovates and Co-Founder of Clavis Studio and Myles App. He also co-founded Black Business Ventures Association (BBVA), a not-for-profit supporting tech business leaders through inclusive programs and support services. Ayo also sits on the Workforce Development and Attraction Committee of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce. He volunteers with several other organizations including the Edmonton Community Foundation.
When Ayo immigrated to Canada as an internationally trained professional, he accessed and benefited immensely from the services and resources provided by Bredin. To this day, he attributes his professional and personal successes to the exceptional experience he had with Bredin.
Ayo is a strong advocate of Bredin and is passionate about the critical role Bredin plays in skills development and career advancement in Alberta. He joined the Board in January 2020, holds the positions of Vice-chair and Treasurer. He also Chairs the Finance & Audit committee.
