She intuitively sees the opportunity within an organization, brings others together into a coherent whole, and drives strategic business advantage. She is a leader that seeks action while at the same time is grounded in financial information that levers the business.
Debbie has been involved with Bredin since 1997, where she began employment as an Assessment Officer. Debbie’s involvement grew as she held positions as Team Leader, Program Manager and most recently the role of CEO since 2007. Debbie holds a CPA designation from CPA Canada, BA from the University of Cape Breton, and is currently completing her MBA through the Australian Institute of Business.
Over the past 21 years, Debbie has seen the growth of Bredin from a single location to the current 4 locations across Alberta. Debbie has supported the organisation through change and has helped to launch new programs and created an internal control structure for Bredin. “I’m honoured to lead such a unique, dynamic and growing organization”, said Debbie. “You can feel the power of what we do for our clients and the community we build for those having trouble connecting to the labour market.
